Summary:  Anxiety is on the rise in both women and teens. I am combating this by sending out encouraging text messages everyday so girls remember they are strong and have the power inside of them to combat their fears and make their dreams a reality.

To Girl Power Advocates— Hello! My name is Jen Landis, and I am putting this message into the universe because I believe in the power of manifesting and positive thinking. When we actively engage with positivity and focus on it, amazing things can happen.

However, in making our dreams a reality or even just living our day to day lives, everyone experiences self-doubt at some point. In fact, according to Our World Data. (2018), an estimated 264 million people worldwide have an anxiety disorder.

Women are nearly twice as likely as men to be diagnosed with an anxiety disorder in their lifetime and according to a Washington State Youth Health survey, 75% of teenage girls experience anxiety, often due to self-doubt, so you may be thinking that you need help with daughter's behavior.

During these times, positive thinking can be difficult, especially when our inner mean girl voice is bullying us around. We can’t always be there for our daughters, and not surprisingly, grown woman also need positive messages for their inner child.

Over the past year, I have been sending a text a day with positive messages straight into the hands of both our teenage girls and women where they are most...on their phones. The texts come from the voice of the Pincurl Girls.

Adults can sign themselves up and sign up the teenagers in their lives for daily text messages that encourages and supports them. It's best to have both the adult and the teen get the texts to allow for invaluable daily conversations as they discuss the message of the day.

For example, here is a fun text I sent last Sunday night, (Sunday night texts are my favorite, to ease in the dread of Monday)

It went like this: Jen (your name here), you can handle whatever this upcoming week throws at you! Hopefully, it's a giant bag of sour gummy worms! Luv, Pincurl Girls

This service is 100% free of charge  and brings positivity straight to our daughters, and gives them an essential part of success: encouragement.

If you would like to see how this service works, you can sign up at: https://pincurlgirls.com/pages/texties

Many girls and women have sign up and the responses are very encouraging. One mom said, “I love this! I’ve been trying to come up with a good note to send to my daughter before her race tomorrow. This works. Thank you!”

Another woman said, “Thanks so much! This really brightened my morning.”

I’ve had many responses saying, “Thanks! This couldn’t have come at a better time.”  Or, “I really needed that right now.”

I hope to ease the amount of anxiety and self-doubt girls and women experience today, and I hope that you will help me share this resource with your friends, family, social media following and non-profit groups.

Thank you so much for your support!Warmly, Jen Landis and The Pincurl Girls
